Jeremiah Metsinger                                                                                                    Senior Pastor

Pastor Metsinger grew up in a preachers home with two younger brothers in Kansas.  He attended Heartland Baptist Bible College of Oklahoma City, OK. It was there that he received Christ as his Savior and was called to preach. In 2002, Pastor Metsinger married his college sweetheart, Melissa. They graduated from H.B.B.C. in May of 2003. Shortly after graduation their first son, Noah,was born. The Metsingers moved to Sioux Falls, SD. in August 2003. There Bro. Metsinger served as Associate Pastor at Eastside Baptist Church under Pastor Phil Spencer. While in Sioux Falls, the Lord blessed their family with a second son, Haddon, and allowed Pastor Metsinger to receive a Master's Degree in Ministry.  God led our Pastor & his family to South Knollwood Baptist Church in August of 2006.  Bro. Metsinger completed his Doctorate in Ministry shortly following their move to Topeka. In 2008, they were blessed again with the birth of a third son, Silas. Pastor & Mrs. Metsinger enjoy spending time with their three sons and involving them in the work of South Knollwood. They are grateful for the spiritual growth the Lord has allowed them to see within the church family as well as the many souls that have been saved and added to the church.
